Mothers' Union

Our Mothers' Union branch, Christ Church Willaston, is part of the Diocese of Chester Mothers' Union, of which there are over 1,000 members throughout 56 branches, spread across the Diocese. 

Members of Mothers' Union serve their churches and communities through projects and events that help to support local families.

Some of the projects involving Mothers' Union throughout our Diocese, which spreads through the Wirral, Chester, Cheshire and parts of Tameside and Stockport, include things like offering Away from it All Holidays, for families facing adversity; supporting foodbanks, mother and toddler groups, fundraising events.

Mothers' Union is very relevant in today's fast paced world, and it is often called upon to comment on important issues, helping to shape decision making and how policy is decided.

On a local level, Mother's Union brings together women in the community, young and old, who have a common belief in Christianity and who want to demonstrate this through their efforts within a friendly and welcoming group of like minded people.
