The church meets every Sunday, at 9am for our traditional Parish Eucharist (Holy Communion) service and at 10.30am for our All Age Worship. Whichever service you attend, you'll find a welcoming congregation and relevant and interesting sermons delivered by Fr Lyndon.
What is a baptism? We believe it is an opportunity for you to come together as a family before God to give thanks for the new life which He has given to you. Christ Church has a positive policy of baptism and will not refuse you even if you are not a regular member of our congregation. It is a wonderful thing to be married within your parish church by a familiar vicar, in front of your family and friends and before God. In preparation for the marriage, a couple must first speak to Fr Lyndon before they make any further arrangements about their big day! In life, there is death. Everyone must eventually die and it is an honour to be able to assist your departed relative in their journey back to God. We believe that life is better when we do it together. That's why we offer a variety of small groups and events, such as Men's Group, Home Group, Ladies UpLIFT, Mothers' Union, where you can connect with others and build meaningful relationships. Click below to learn more about our community.
Welcoming children and young adults to Christ Church is something we positively encourage. Already established links with Willaston C of E Primary School enable the church to start forming a relationship with young worshippers from an early age, although we have work to do in offering more dedicated youth work for older children and teenagers.
Faith is an important part of life. Many people disregard formal worship because they think it is unnecessary if they have faith. Indeed, we believe that faith should be first and foremost in your mind, but equally we think formal worship helps a congregant to form a stronger bond with God through a deeper understanding of the scriptures. Find out more about the various ways Christ Church can help you embrace formal worship as part of your belief.
We believe that the church should be an integral part of village life and here at Christ Church we want to take an active role and be part of the much wider village community. You can help us to achieve the Christ Church in the Community vision by being part of our congregation or simply coming along to our family fun days, or our soup lunches to support us as we strive to make you part of us and our faith in Jesus Christ.
Christ Church would not be the same without you and we would love to hear from you and help you get connected to Christ Church. You can come along to one of our community activities, or come to one of our Sunday services. You may want to help out or even be part of our team as we move forward into the future.
