Home Group
What is Home Group?
At Christ Church, we don't just meet in church and worship, we hold regular meetings away from the church and Home Group is generally held within the relaxed environment of someone's home, where we gather as a friendly group of Christian people who want to learn more about the workings of Christ and how we can pass on His word to others within today's world.
What does Home Group do?
Each meeting will open with greetings and refreshments and there will be a short prayer before the group begin a pre-set programme of study that discusses the bible, understanding Christian faith and the application of one's beliefs in the wider community or sometimes we simply open a debate about current events and how Jesus Christ can impact upon today's troubled world.
When is Home Group held?
We meet on the first and third Wednesday every month. You don't have to attend every session, you don't even have to attend church regularly but if you want to learn more about your faith or engage in Bible study in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, Home Group will make you very welcome.
